The property includes the land on the far side of the cove all the way to the point, ensuring that you have full control over both shores.
Sticks and stones have been cleared out of the cove making a pleasant swimming area.
Large logs covered with moss and small plant communities have been strategically positioned to protect the shorelines from wave erosion while still allowing boats to access the dock.
In April 2024 a large Oak tree was brought down by a winter storm and it fell across the cove, creating a beautiful natural arch bridge. In the summer you can swim or kayak under the arch into a green cathedral of trees around the shady cove. Despite its fall, the tree is still alive!
A Wood Duck nest box is suspended over the water at the top end of the cove and has been used consistently for many years.
